I was educated at King Edward’s Witley and at the University of Bristol. After training as a Chartered Accountant the majority of my subsequent career has been spent in Banking. I am currently a senior advisor to Barclays plc.
My non-executive appointments include HM Treasury, Trust for London, Morden College, Bridewell Royal Hospital and latterly British Airways International Advisory Board and London Fairness Commission.
I was elected an Alderman of the City of London in 2013 and was Sheriff of the City of London for the year 2016/17.
Within the Livery, I was Master of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers (2017/18), and am a Court Assistant of the Chartered Accountants', Educators' and Ironmongers' Companies.
Married to Lindy, we have one son and two daughters and live in Tunbridge Wells although spend most of the week in London.
